Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. Cut the loaf of French bread diagonally into 1-inch slices. Arrange the slices in the bottom of the dish. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, half & half, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over bread slices, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, preheat oven to 350° B In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup for the glaze; heat until bubbling. Pour over bread and egg mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes.
