Inn Dogs Chico and Lucy offer warm hospitality to guests of Richmond VA bed and breakfast Maury Place at Monument. They are always delighted to meet new friends, and guests have enjoyed having them around.
Please let us know if you have allergies, or are not comfortable with dogs, and we will make sure they are not a bother. The dogs are never in guest rooms, and we keep them out of the way during breakfast.
Both of our dogs were adopted from animal rescue organizations. Lucy, a beagle mix, came to us from the Richmond Animal League. Approximately 15 years old, Lucy has beautiful brown eyes, and a calm and composed nature. Chico adores his big sister, and often will squeeze into her bed to be close with her.

Chico came to us from the Rockbridge County SPCA after Jeff found his picture online. A terrier mix, he is approximately six years old. Chico has boundless energy, living each moment to the fullest. To Chico, every day is the best day ever! Chico's favorite activities are to take early morning runs along Monument Avenue with innkeeper Mac, being held by innkeeper Jeff, and being pampered by the Maury Place inn staff and guests.
Chico and Lucy are both proud that Maury Place is a supporter of the Richmond SPCA and Fetch-a-Cure. To learn more about the inn dogs, visit Lucy's Facebook Page or Chico's Facebook Page.
