Our Inn Dogs Chico and Lucy offer warm hospitality to Maury Place guests. They are always delighted to meet new friends, and guests have enjoyed having them around. Please let us know if you have allergies, or are not comfortable with dogs, and we will make sure they are not a bother. The dogs are never in guest rooms, and we keep them out of the way during breakfast.
Both of our dogs were adopted from animal rescue organizations. Lucy, our beagle mix, came to us from the Richmond Animal League. She is approximately 11 years old, and has a sweet and calm nature.
Chico came to us from the Rockbridge County SPCA; Jeff found his picture online. He is a terrier mix, and is approximately two years old. Chico is a very happy and playful dog. We would all benefit by living our lives like Chico!
In the picture above they are shown sharing a bed, something they often do. Each has a bed, but usually we find them together (often in the smaller bed!) The text on the bed says "If my dreams would come true, bones will rain from the sky".
