This magnificent Richmond, Virginia bed and breakfast located in the Museum District and the Monument Avenue Historic District was built in 1916, five years before Monument Avenue was paved west of the Boulevard and thirteen years before the Maury Monument it overlooks was unveiled.

Lovingly preserved in its original state by previous owners, we are only the fourth family to enjoy this remarkable architectural monument, and we are delighted to share it with you as our guest. Choose from four gracious suites, each with its own private bath en suite. The baths feature many original fixtures, but also have updated 21st century features such as heated tile floors and new showers.

The inn décor is both sophisticated and refreshingly modern, while still taking cues from the dramatic neo-classical architecture. Guest amenities include use of our pool and hot tub, complimentary wine, and off street parking. Our neighborhood location is walking distance to great museums, restaurants, and the Carytown shopping district.

For travelers seeking longer term lodging, we also offer a fully furnished executive apartment. Located next to our bed and breakfast, Franklin Place is a two bedroom corporate apartment with full kitchen, off street parking, and access to our pool and hot tub.
